Where can I find Emplexer V1? Is there a link? I like DUNE because of its capability in rendering video and audio in HD format. I tried PS3, PS4 and Western Digital and I had problems with audio and video stuttering. Dune actually is perfect to me I'd like to have the appeal of Plex Home Theater. Emplexer v1 is here: NUC is a family of Intel mini PCs, suitable for media center, games etc.

It can run Kodi (which is XBMC-based open source home theater software, similar to Plex Home Theater). I'm also happy with my Dune, but it definitely lacks decent support and official applications. Most of third-party services are supported via community written apps, which means that support is provided on 'as is' basis, as long, as developer has free time and not bored with app.

I tried emplexer V1 but it doesn't work. Same behaviour: It shows movie photos but when you click over it starts the wrong movie. I.e.: I see in the list 007. I select it and it starts 1997 Escape. (which, to me, is a better movie ). I've got troubles with V1 and V2 since vers.0.9.12.1.

It seems, that the problem is not with emplexer, but with your server, database issues. Have you tried to rebuild you library? Delete your movies folder from Plex server, clean trash and bundles, and than add it again. I've just got my Plex server up and running, I should stick to version 1 of Emplexer until V2 is updated? Also I will add, after years of complete agony with home theatre PCs I would strongly advise anyone against going down that path. Hours wasted fiddling with nonsense like smooth video playback, reclock, codec packs, xml files in XBMC, sucky deinterlacing, fix one thing it breaks another. Then the result is rarely even as good as you get from a cheap streaming box.

HTPC even breaks compatibility with motionflow/interframe creation because it keeps losing cadence. No thanks never again! No thanks never again! I could not agree more, i have also been searching for the perfect HTPC solution but it always fall short in picture quality / smooth playback / hd audio passthrough etc etc.

To begin with I'm not a programmer and I don't have a lot of knowledge of computers. I am now trying for hours to get Plex to be successful, not good, I am now frustrated that I want to throw down the Dune of 7 high building. I have used different versions of Emplexer and get still the message 'application manifest is missing', what am I doing wrong?

I have Plex already running on my Mac, Iphone, Ipad and Samsung Galaxy but the Dune. Dune HD Smart D1 Firmware 1_b9 Please can and will someone help me??? Thanks in advance. Don't throw your Dune (or send it to me!!!:-))! It's not it's fault - neither yours! Emplexer is/was developped by ONE person only, who seems not to have time to update/correct it anymore. And emplexer is/was the ONLY Plex client available on Dune:-( it seems to work for some people yet - but I can't say / don't understand why it works for some people and not for others.

We're many in your case, where emplexer doesn't work, neither V1 or V2.:-( so I switched for Kodi on O-droid (but am not fortunate as many don't work neither.) regards. Mastering Garageband Video On Ipad.

Honestly the more I think about it, the more it seems like a dumb idea, XBMC is bloated as hell. XBMC runs fine on my Mac Minis, an old ATV1 with CHD and as you noted on an inexpensive netted.

There's no shortage of system that it can run on. Plex runs on iPods, LG and Samsung TV's, Macs. I must agree with you regarding OpenElec. The latest version is very fast and compact. I don't quite see the point of buying an expensive Dune, PCH. Just to run XBMC.

You wouldn't notice it running on a PC but on an Arm box the difference has been amazing. Autodesk Backburner 2008.1.1 Download here.
