Hello, I hope I have placed this in the correct forums here on TechNet. I have a corrupt CAB file and am looking on ways to correct it. We use WINRAR to open CAB files. When I attempt to open it via WINRAR I am being told 'The archive is either in unknown format or damaged.' I have multiple CAB files generating this error, but not all of them. Add another person to the damaged Data2.cab file - Ive also downloaaded it twice with the same error message [approx 10 hr DL] Note - I do understand the whole 'Shotgun approach' to distribution annd that is the same approach used by most companies as it hits the most with the least amount of man-hours. IMO would be nice if there was an FTP or file site somewhere you could post the files to for those downloading on sub-1mb DSL to try and work around any errors.
