I have found that ease of operation and functionality is really not bad, and the features that it enables me to use are more than I had expected.
For starters, having never used pool controls before, I did not expect anything more than turning a pump on and off in order to circulate water. This little gizmo, however, does everything, and it does it from the comfort of inside your house, as well as having additional controls out by the pool equipment and on the side of the spa itself.
Initially, I was petrified of using it and changing the factory settings. I read through the instruction manual that came with the control and was hugely disappointed and the number of features that it gave no instruction or explanation on whatsoever. Much of • what I have found has been as a result of searching on the internet and finding other people who have posted instructions and helpful guides. Having figured out how to use the control, I like the fact that I can set different features to come on at different times of the day, and on different days as well. This means I can have the filter pump and waterfall start in the morning, run during the day, and turn off in the evening. I then found that I could also set a program for the pool and spa lights to come on and turn off as well. Now, I have the lights coming on in the evening when it gets dark.
